Lawyer Fund Transaction Management
Tasks
Providing comprehensive legal support to the portfolio management team and institutional distribution / Giving legal advice on the basis of the Collective Investment Schemes Act, the Financial Institutions Act, the Financial Services Act, the Financial Markets and Infrastructure Act and FINMA regulations and practices / Monitoring transactions in the context of compliance and risk management / Drafting legal documents and legal monitoring and contracts and legal safeguards for agreements, e.g. for advice, fund investments, prospectuses, licenses, distribution etc. / Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and initiating changes in the IT systems with the support of business analysts and the IT specialists / Coordinating cooperation with international law firms and authorities worldwide and ensuring a high level of advice/ Further developing interfaces with other departments and internal stakeholders, in particular the Compliance Office / Responsible for professional cooperation with the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA / Responsible for training for specialists, managers and members of the Executive Board with a focus on service quality and risk mitigation / Ad hoc legal projects arising from the situation.
**Requirements**:
Completed law studies at a Swiss university and admitted to the bar / Knowledge of the laws and regulations for asset management in Switzerland / Professional experience in an international law firm, a legal consultancy (e.g. BigFour), an asset manager or internally in the asset management department of an international bank / Interested in country management matters, including corporate governance / Broad knowledge of the regulations of the financial market supervisory authorities in Switzerland (CISA) as well as cross-border compliance regulations (UCITS, AIF, AIFMD) or the self-regulatory regulations and guidelines for sustainable financial products (AMAS) / Experience in supporting fund administration projects, e.g. structuring, advertising, sales, marketing and distribution. e.g. structuring, promotion, distribution etc. / Ability to understand business, products and processes / Ability to manage and coordinate projects with legal, regulatory and business issues and risks / Ability to draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts / Ability to manage multiple challenging, fast-paced projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment / Ability to make quick and high quality decisions / Skilled in communicating within the international organization and with interdisciplinary teams coordinating complex projects / Business and solution oriented / Strong negotiation and presentation skills with networking ability / German as well as English.
