For the Unit Marketing, Multichannel Campaign within Karger Experience, the Karger arm, which is aimed at communities and markets, we are looking for a motivated person based in Basel, Switzerland to join our increasingly agile organization.
**Marketing, Multichannel Campaign Consultant (70-90%)**:
**Managing Communication and Campaign activities**
As a Multichannel Campaign Consultant (70-90%) you will need to work closely with various units as well as the other marketing teams within the publishing company. Your main responsibilities will be to consult, design, implement, oversee and improve steadily the agile management of multichannel campaigns at Karger Publishers and to make sure marketing communications are effective and successful.
**This multi-faceted role includes**:
- Close collaboration with diverse departments in the division of Labs & Experience; active consultation of the assigned domains in view of suitable marketing and communication activities to reach the defined goals.
- The self-reliant planning, implementing, and monitoring integrated multi-channels; selecting traditional and digital channels tailored to the target group
- Planning, organizing and supervision of congress campaigns including exhibition participation at a stand
- Developing creative and effective marketing campaign ideas, communication / social media and implementing them efficiently.
- Direct Marketing Activities: Implementation through Salesforce Pardot, especially newsletters, lead generation and engagement activities along the customer journeys of our personas.
- Generating and designing suitable means of communication, supervising their production.
- Ensuring the availability of attractive marketing and sales materials and advertising resources — while considering the integrated communication strategy and content strategy.
- Cost planning and control, leading campaign reports, statistics, and success evaluation.
- Collaborating in maintaining a repertoire of communication tools as well as a branding platform (together with Brand & Communication).
**Qualification and experience required**:
- Basic education: vocational or professional training with possible specializations in marketing, communications, digital marketing, social media, public relations, journalism.
- Technical knowledge/professional experience/success in a comparable field: experience in planning and conducting goal-directed integrated campaigns (mix of traditional and digital), campaign management, agency experience etc.
- Abilities in project management, self-organization, consulting, target-, service
- and customer-orientation
- Passion for writing a variety of marketing content (SEO)
- Good feeling for design, consistent and creative brand identity
- IT competence: MS Office, Hootsuite, Salesforce
- Affinity with natural-scientific and medical topics
- Knowledge of Publishing/Journalism is a plus
- Readiness to travel internationally (ca. 15 days per year)
- English: very good business English or native speaker
- German: good knowledge of spoken and written German for internal communication (desired)
- Additional foreign languages are an advantage
