Part-time Event and Ticketing Coordinator

Projektil is an innovative storytelling company working with the latest audiovisual technologies, based in Zurich. We are a collective of conceptualizers, creatives, technologists and artists creating contemporary and innovative media experiences at the intersection of art and technology.

To support our team, we are looking for reliable employees to support our shows on site in our venue in Geneva, for the period from 10 October 2024 to 30 April 2025. The venue opens several days a week (wed/thur/fr/sat/sun) from 10:30 to 21:30 depending on days. The location is in Geneva, quartier des Pâquis.

**The tasks at hand**:

- You are there before the guests arrive, check the venue and make sure that everything is ready.
- You open and safely close the building everyday.
- Welcoming all guests, answering all questions and being point of contact at the reception for anyone entering the building
- You are responsible for ensuring that everything runs smoothly on site.
- You carry out the ticket checks, welcome, check, scan and answer questions. You are in touch with the ticketing service by phone if needed.
- You manage ticket sales on site as well as all shop sales (goodies, food & drink).
- You report any technical incidents to our technicians.
- You provide regular feedback to the Geneva Project Manager
- You clean up with the team at the end of the event and make sure that everything is ready for the next day
(basic cleaning work, this main work and larger tasks will be carried out by external staff).
- Additional supporting tasks of Geneva Project Manager depending on profile and availability

**What we expect from you**:

- Reliability and a high sense of responsibility.
- Enjoy event management and dealing with guests (previous experience is an advantage).
- Resourceful, independent, solution-oriented approach.
- French mother tongue, very good knowledge of English; knowledge of foreign languages is a plus.
- If you have an interest in Digital Marketing, it’s a plus.

The schedules will be established for the full contract time, meaning from 10.10.2024 to 30.04.25.

The exact schedule will be worked out according to individual availability.
