Product Owner

EF Education First has an immediate opening for a Product Owner on the EF International Language Campuses Marketing Technology team.

As part of a multi-national team, you will work with business stakeholders (located in Zurich or globally in an EF market) to recognize business problems, identify technological or process solutions and then specify user epics and user stories that clearly define the problem and the kind of solution that is required. In your role, you will collaborate with developers, designers, solution architects and stakeholders to use, optimize and champion the agile development methodology.

The Marketing Tech team is currently working on expanding our personalization efforts for the future with a strong technology focus. Topics we are very passionate about include delivering thousands of webpages at scale, sound architecture, personalized user experiences, optimizing for performance, improving efficiency, and testing for success. As part of your daily work, you will need to look at the various requirements of the business and produce a tangible vision and roadmap for delivering the features and projects you are responsible for.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**

Along with your extraordinary innovative talent, you shall be responsible for:

- Being the Product Owner of one or more scrum teams.
- Translating product vision and customer needs to actual features in collaboration with Digital Project Manager and Scrum team.
- Collaborating with the business and the development team to understand requirements and create epics and user stories.
- Developing, maintaining, and prioritizing the product backlog.
- Helping define product’s vision, the Marketing Technology roadmap and growth opportunities.
- Organising features delivery, reporting progress internally
- Validating features acceptance criteria and ensuring successful features roll-out with key business stakeholders.
- Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation by making suggestions to improve work systems, processes and procedures used in terms of service, accuracy of output, responsiveness etc.

**YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION - THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE**
- Professional degree.
- Earlier experience working as a Software engineer and Product Owner.
- Proven ability to manage products in a complex environment.
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences.
- Know how in Agile methods, process re-engineering.
- Have basic knowledge of how Google Analytics, Experimentation and Salesforce works.
- Passion for Digital Marketing, Design and Conversion Optimization.
- Nice to have: previous experience in a travel or e-commerce company, Certified Scrum Master and Product Owner certifications.
