An early stage Swiss startup in the fintech space is looking for a Product Owner focused on mobile apps to join the initial tech team. The position requires considerable ability to work in a standalone manner. You will be reporting directly to the company's CTO.

**What you will be doing**:

- As a member of the initial core team you will have a huge impact on the company's apps, and thus on the company's success. The apps will need to be expanded by adding new functionality and addressing aspects such as ease-of-use, quality and security.
- You will be part of a small core team and will work directly with the technical team in Cluj, Romania (developers and QA engineers) and with the business teams in Zurich (marketing, sales, client support). The position will require spending time on the ground in both Zurich and Cluj.
- contributing to the creation of the long term strategy for the product
- writing specifications for the new features and splitting them into user stories for the development team
- working together with the tech team during the implementation phase, making sure the development stays on track and on schedule
- performing acceptance testing for newly implemented features
- demoing the new functionality to the other stakeholders after implementation
- working together with the rest of the team on prioritizing the work backlog for the tech team
- helping manage and monitor the agile development process
- helping maintain and support the mobile apps

**Required experience & knowledge**
- 4+ years of experience working as a Product Owner or Product Manager
- Technical knowledge: product management, UI/UX wireframing & prototyping tools (Marvel, Sketch, InVision, Figma, etc), issue tracking systems (Jira or equivalent), usage monitoring & analysis tools (Firebase Analytics, Adjust, etc).
- Diploma from university (of applied sciences), Fachhochschule or similar

**Nice to have**
- Fintech experience and/or crypto trading experience
- Higher university diploma (MSc or PhD)
- Experience with SCRUM or other agile methodologies
