**Beschreibung**:
We are looking for a motivated and committed **Research Associate - In Vitro Hematology**for our client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. based in Basel, for a 18 month assignment with the option to extend.

We are seeking a Research Associate to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and translatability of new therapies for non-malignant hematological disorders, with a focus on hemoglobinopathies. As part of an international, collaborative team, you will work primarily with cell-culture-based in vitro models to characterize therapeutic strategies for anemia. Proficiency in cell culture, flow cytometry, and qPCR is essential.

**Tasks**:

- Work with cell lines, primary cells, and patient-derived materials
- Assess efficacy and safety of novel therapies via genetic manipulation, ex vivo cultures, and molecular assays (e.g., flow cytometry, qPCR, Western blot)
- Support projects involving transgenic mouse models (e.g., tissue collection and processing)
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments; optimize assays collaboratively
- Document work thoroughly and present findings to the team
- Contribute to lab maintenance, teamwork, and a positive group environment

**Must Haves**:

- MSc/BSc in Life Sciences or completed apprenticeship as Research Associate with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong hands-on experience in cell culture and in vitro assays
- Proficient in flow cytometry and data analysis
- Industrial experience is a strong plus
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Team-oriented, proactive, and adaptable mindset
- Fluent in English
