**Key Responsibilities**

**Controllership Activities**
- Manage the outsourced accounting and tax activities for Switzerland and other assigned legal entities to ensure accuracy of the financial statements, management reports, systems, and controls.
- Monitor the accounting cycle including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses claims and day-to-day treasury tasks. Oversee all the transactions booked by the service provider including month-end reconciliations.
- Prepare revenue recognition, cost reviews and adjustments in compliance with IFRS and local accounting practices. Manage the monthly accruals process including ICDR accruals and ICDR analysis. Ensure the accuracy of project cost flow and intercompany transactions (project & non-project) including correction of errors
- Support timely and accurate delivery at regional level on Tax matters (VAT, WHT and etc), Cash Collection, Global Controllership requests, Credit Checks.
- Detailed review and analysis of financial clauses of customer and vendor contracts.
- Group & Local Audits: Full ownership of all aspects of statutory and tax audits for the assigned legal entities. Liaise with external auditors, as required, to monitor the overall audit process, address audit requests in a timely, efficient and consistent manner, and ensure that any findings are adequately addressed to mitigate risk.
- M&A Activities: Hands-on execution of financial and operational matters from due diligence to post-acquisition integration.
- Support the Global Controller to research and accurately advise on technical accounting issues related to strategic transactions, including major capex, business combinations, financial instruments and other complex areas.

**FP&A Activities**
- Participate in the business planning and forecasting process, helping to ensure that financial projections are properly reported and in line with global, regional, and market requirements.
- Partner with the business to ensure that our results are analysed, and opportunities and risks are identified to support our goal to continually improve business results.
- Co-ordinating regularly with Market Leaders and country managers on financial matters and ad-hoc requests, tenders and etc.

**EDUCATION**:

- Accredited University Finance degree,
- Qualified Accountant (ICAEW, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent), preferred.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Overall +/- 10 years of experience, including 5 years in similar role and responsibilities
- Experience and knowledge of tax implications (VAT, WHT and etc.) is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (incl. process review, testing & documentation)
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Dynamics is a plus
- Exposure to consulting industry, strong desire to learn the business.
- Good communication, ability to work effectively & push for change in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strong organizational skills, structured, results driven.
- Able to cope with changing environment and priorities.
- Hands-on, pragmatic, able to translate theoretical knowledge into business reality.
