Vacanceselect is a leading Outdoor company in Europe with 63 owned campsites and 200 partners campsites spread out mostly on the Mediterranean (Italy, France, Spain and Croatia) and also in other locations in western Europe. We also provide tour operator services.

The group is mainly based in France with an important extension in the Netherlands and offices in Europe.

Geneva is the office dedicated to contracting and to some extent commercializing of stays on partners campsites as well as tour operator services. The company in charge is Vacanceselect International (VSI) fully owned subsidiary of the group Vacanceselect. Some of the services are outsourced to various entities of the group (mainly in Holland), the execution of the stays (guest welcoming, accommodations maintenance, rents payments to partners sites ) are assumed by delegated local entities on every market.

**Mission of the Job**

We are recruiting a controller dedicated to the partners sites business units. The BU comprises the negotiation/signature of rental agreements with partners campsites as realized by VSI and the execution of the stays in the various partners campsites, basically a follow up of operating costs.

The controller will produce various monthly reports related to the business to the attention of the BU manager, Eric Boyer and to 4 country managers (Italy, France & others, Spain and Croatia). He/She will handle meetings (by Visio conference or in person) with the mangers to explain the issues and actions expected following the display of the reports. For the monthly reports he/she will use the accounting datas served from France and will correct accounting closures where needed.

The controller will provide data to the BU manager’s team for him to prepare monthly reviews of his scope with the CEO.

The controller will participate, with the managers and the central controlling to the issuance of the budget (in sept/October). Main topics will be development projects (new sites) on both Capex and Opex, Recruitment policies and pricing, maintenance campsite costs, local offices structure.

The controller will intervene alongside managers to propose business optimization when needed and accurate.

The controller will maintain appropriate tools to ensure exhaustivity and accuracy of the information provided. He/she will survey the analytical base related to his/her activity.

**Organisation**

The controller will be managed from Holland (Northern Europe Head of Finance) and get its professional guidelines from the central controlling in France. His/Her mission will be updated & priorities defined by the BU manager in line with the central controlling. IT tools will be maintained, and evolutions will be dealt with the group IT (based in France) with the support of Finance correspondent dedicated to IT.

**Skills needed**
- English Fluent and Business skilled (working language with Holland & Country manager in Italy and Croatia);
- French Fluent and Business skilled (ERP language, working language of French office, BU Manager and country managers in France and Spain);
- Organized, the info is spread out in various locations with numerous counterparts;
- Curious, best quality of the controller will be to jump on any occasion to improve knowledge and to make accurate proposal;
- Challenger: the controller is open to challenge himself but also the business;
- Team Player: the controller will work with a lot of colleagues through Northern Europe;
- 2-5 years experience in similar position.

**Location**

You will work with 3 other colleagues in our small but nice office in Carouge Geneva and a possibility to have a home office. You will travel a couple of times per year to meet your colleagues in the different offices. Also, a lot of colleagues from the various offices in Europe will visit Geneva regularly.
