Clinical Operations Intern

**Role Description**

Headquartered in Basel, Switzerland, Straumann is a global leader in implant and restorative dentistry and oral tissue regeneration. Having pioneered many of the most influential technologies and techniques in our field, we have a tradition of doing more to advance dental regeneration, restoration and replacement, as well as patient care.

To Do so, Straumann relies on clinical evidence to support the product portfolio and bring new solutions to the market.

As our new Clinical Intern, you will join the Clinical Operations department - a part of research, development, and innovation at Institut Straumann AG. As a curious and scientifically oriented person, you are interested to gain first insights into clinical data generation (Clinical Research) or assessment of clinical data (Clinical Evaluation) and the respective processes and regulatory requirements. You’ll be a part of an international team of scientist and clinical specialists, mainly located at the global Headquarter in Basel.

Duration 6 months.

**Your main responsibilities**
- Support clinical data evaluation
- Literature search
- Electronic data and database management
- Support clinical data generation (pre-/postmarket) and/or respective process set-up

**Who are we looking for?**
- Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Engineering, Material/Life or Medical Sciences
- Self-motivated person with an efficient and structured working style and the ability to achieve results in a pragmatic way
- You communicate openly, embrace change, are solution driven, learn by doing and invite feedback.
- High level of integrity, commitment and ethics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
