Clinical Operations Manager – Pharmaceutical Trials

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced
Clinical Operations Manager
to lead and supervise all operational trial-related activities and the operations team assigned to global clinical trials. This is a high-impact role, accountable for ensuring the delivery of operational outputs in line with trial timelines and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational input to project planning and trial plans, influencing performance and quality
  • Report all operational aspects of the trial to the Clinical Trial Team (CTT) leader
  • Lead operational planning and activities in close collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Supervise and guide the external operations team, setting clear priorities and instructions
  • Proactively resolve operational issues and ensure timely solutions
  • Oversee selection and management of External Service Providers (ESPs) and Clinical Research Organizations (CROs)
  • Manage clinical trial supplies, including forecasting, ordering, distribution, and import/export licenses

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or healthcare (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing operational aspects of complex Phase II/III clinical trials and global teams
  • Proven leadership in global cross-functional and multicultural teams
  • Experience representing Clinical Operations in high-level meetings
  • Strong background in selecting/managing ESPs and CROs, including performance and finance management
  • Proficient with electronic data capture, eTMF, and CTMS
  • Excellent knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines
