Institute for Regenerative Medicine - IREM_ **Unique opportunity: facilitate life scientists' journey towards successful translation and biomed entrepreneurship - "Program Director BioMed Entrepreneurship & Innovation"** IREM's BioMed Entrepreneurship & Innovation programs offer hands-on training for life scientists to become economically successful entrepreneurs in BioTech, MedTech or Pharma. In the various modules, they learn how to bring their ideas and research results to market, by getting insights into the essential techniques and know-how (IP, business plan, regulatory requirements and negotiation strategies, etc.) for setting up a spin-off company. As the program director you will be responsible for the coordination and further development of these projects. You are expecting a highly motivated team and a stimulating work environment. **Your responsibilities**: - This function covers the strategic and operational planning & execution of projects within the BEI program, the UZH IncubatorLab and the Minor in BioMed Entrepreneurship. It includes: - Initiation and further development of contents, tools and partners of the program - Development of the curriculum adjustments, implementation and follow-up of all course modules/ exams, incl. acquisition of course instructors and speakers - Lecturing for the different programs - Representative for internal/external partners and responsible for extension of the network - Coaching for the fellows at the UZH IncubatorLab - Controlling (annual planning of courses, budget plans etc.) - Leadership and promotion of employees **Your profile**: - University degree in business administration or equivalent qualification - At least 5 years of start-up or management experience and network, preferably in BioTech, MedTech and/or Pharma - Proactive and flexible work style - Very good leadership and communication skills - Interest in the academic environment in connection with practical implementation - Very good written and spoken German and English skills **What we offer**: A creative management position with a broad scope; from excellent science results via hands-on entrepreneurial training to successful spin-offs in a dynamic environment at Campus Schlieren.
