Research Associate (M/F/d) (LSB) for Glycart

supplying molecules and tools. That covers the generation of antibody and antigen expression constructs, optimized expression vectors for antigen supply, antibody format conversion, designing and engineering of recombinant cell lines and protein production at different scales.

Tasks
- Ordering and registration of DNA and proteins
- Generation of long linear DNA fragments and/or plasmids
- Sequence analysis and data handling
- Maintaining, transfecting, cultivating and harvesting mammalian cells
- Purifying antibodies
- Operating and maintaining automated workflows
- Troubleshooting and optimization of existing workflows
- Regular presentation of the current status and results

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree or equivalent experience in biology or a related field (\*\*\*\*)
- Strong hands-on experience in state-of-the-art cloning techniques (\*\*\*\*)
- Experience in mammalian cell culture and transfection (\*\*\*\*)
- 1+ years' experience in a laboratory setting with a focus on molecular biology (\*\*\*\*)
- Experience in protein purification (\*\*)
- EDV- experience and technical flair (G-Suite or MS Office) (\*\*)
- Proactive personality and drive to optimize workflows
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English is a must

Nice to haves
- Familiarity with lab automation is a plus
