Numab Therapeutics AG is an expanding, clinical stage Swiss biotech company based in Wädenswil, canton of
Zürich. The company is focused on the discovery and development of innovative, antibody fragment-based
therapeutics with a focus on immuno-oncology. With our breakthrough antibody-discovery and multi-specifics
engineering platform, we engage in proprietary projects as well as collaborative research on behalf of partners
in the pharmaceutical industry.
To develop Numab’s growing proprietary therapeutic pipeline we are looking for a highly motivated and
experienced individual for a role as Research Technician/Associate within our Protein Engineering team.
**Research Technician/Associate Protein Engineering 100%
In this position, you will be involved in the purification and biophysical characterization of antibody hit and lead
from a variety of disciplines.
**Your Responsibilities**
- Expression, purification and characterization of antibodies and antibody fragments
- Generation of high-quality data in biochemical assays to support Numab’s discovery projects
- Planning, execution, analysis and presentation of experiments within team meetings and company
presentations
- Work closely with team members to outline next steps and help to drive the projects to completion
- General organization of the laboratories, evaluation and acquisition of equipment and consumables
- Completed apprenticeship as laboratory technician or a higher education in biology, (bio-)chemistry or
pharmaceutical sciences, preferably with industry experience in recombinant antibody production and
characterization
- Professional experience in protein biochemistry, molecular biology, protein purification and protein
analysis
- Professional experience in high throughput methods for protein purification and chromatography is a
plus
- Highly accurate and team-oriented working style paired with a high sense of quality
- Accurate and team-oriented work style as well as a high sense of quality
- Ability to work on diverse challenges independently
- Refined computer user skills (Windows, MS Office) and communication skills
