**Overview**

**Your Role**

The Service Planning Manager acts as a holistic pivot point that has an overview of everything that happens in the data center and on the campus (maintenance, customer requests, deliveries, cleanliness, security etc.) and ensures that the tasks are assigned to the correct department. The following two specialist teams are under the Service Planning managers accountability:
The Service Planning Team is accountable for the allocation of engineering resources to customer service requests and maintenances. The Team prepares the annual maintenance calendar in close collaboration with the Facility Teams to avoid clashes and in strict alignment with customers and OEM requirements. Furthermore, the team participates in change, asset, supplier, and incident management.

The Facility Service Team maintains a representative impression of the campus through cleaning, disposals, repairs, clearing work and ensuring proper functioning of all non-critical facilities. The Team is responsible to liaise with the logistics companies delivering to the campus, checking, and accepting the delivery, store it and delivery it on customer request to their footprint and takes care of warehouse management.

**What you’ll need**:

- 3+ years of experience in leading a team.
- Experience in technical management (data centers or building services)
- Fluent in English and German, both written and orally (at least B2 level),
- Experience in supplier management
- Experience in dealing with customers
- Technical experience with a focus on work organization, process efficiency or capacity planning
- Process orientation, and an open mindset with aspiration to continuous (process) improvement
- Communication skills; Listens attentively, speaks clearly and concisely, gives clear instructions and shares information with others
- Planning: Develops realistic plans, set goals, aligns plans with company goals and coordinates with others
- People management: Defines roles and responsibilities, motivates and challenges employees, delegates effectively, rewards contribution and manages collaboratively
- Cross-departmental thinking; concise and effective communication with teams and management

From overseeing electrical power to cooling and fire suppression systems, our team plays a vital role in making sure everything in our data centers operates as it should.

This position is part of the Operational leadership team and reports directly to the local Manager Operations and has 6 - 8 direct reports divided in two areas of expertise.
