**This position reports to**:
Global Division Technology Manager

**Your role and responsibilities**:
As a key player in the System Drives Division, your primary focus will be on enhancing the performance of Research & Development (R&D) and Product Engineering (PE). You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic plan aimed at continuous improvement in portfolio practices, design processes, and tools. This role requires you to create a clear vision, set specific objectives, and ensure the implementation of agreed-upon actions to boost efficiency and quality. Additionally, you will foster a culture that values and actively pursues ongoing improvement. The work model for the role is: hybrid ; #LI-Hybrid The role is contributing to the Motion System Drives Division globally. You will report to the Division Technology Manager, System Drives. You will be mainly accountable for: - Develop and implement strategies to foster a culture of continuous improvement in collaboration with product groups and global functions. - Lead the development and utilization of key processes and design tools within R&D and Product Engineering teams. - Guide R&D process and tool owners in achieving objectives and ensure progress aligns with strategic roadmaps. - Drive continuous improvement in project portfolio management by refining portfolio practices.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Minimum 10-15 years of work experience in the areas of R&D and Product Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Process Development and Continuous Development
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or similar).
- Experience with portfolio planning tools (e.g. Planisware or other).
- Solid Project Management experience, good understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Good understanding of Budget & Performance Management, Strategy Implementation, Data Analysis and Reporting.
- Quality Assurance & Excellence knowledge is a plus.
- Efficiency-focused mindset, strong coordinating and influencing skills.
- Fluent English language skills.
