**This position reports to**:
Business Development and Portfolio Manager of the Division

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will set, deploy, and lead the continuous professional development strategy for the Product Management function at a global organizational level. You will create a vision and objectives that strengthen the culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization. Additionally, you will mentor and coach product management teams to achieve operational excellence, fostering a supportive environment that encourages growth and development. The work model for the role is hybrid. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power globally. You will be mainly accountable for: - Monitoring market and different business sectors trends and transformations to identify new roles, activities, competences, processes, and tools for Product Management - Representing the global ABB PM community in group-driven initiatives and programs - Formulating the long-term continuous improvement strategy to achieve Global PM Excellence in the Business Area and articulating the strategy around the three pillars of competence model, assessment, and learning - Identifying strategic learning opportunities, partnering with external leading product management consultants and training companies, and creating a development roadmap which leverages the three dimensions of training, coaching, and experience - Owning the Product Management function competence framework built on functional competences and process maturity (processes and practices) for organizations and individuals - Defining and executing PMMA (Product Management Maturity Assessment) and FCA (Functional Competences Assessment) to identify improvement opportunities across organizations and individuals - Managing all training operational aspects: promotion, enrollment, logistics, back-office, credentials, and reporting ; leading, in collaboration with the Electrification Academy, the Product Management educational programs - Representing the Electrification Product Management function in group and Business Area HR initiatives

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Master's Degree from a relevant field of expertise
- 10+ years' experience in a business-to-business environment, preferably with international experience within product or portfolio management, technical sales, and/or product marketing preferrable in the field of electrification industries
- Proven track record in customer value creation, market segmentation, and ability to create competitive advantage by strategic choices
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
