The Media Partnerships team delivers a high-quality service to global media partners of UEFA’s Men’s Club Competitions, ensuring that all partners’ operational needs are met. We focus on providing the partners with the tools, platforms and support required to optimise their rights. Our interactions are all driven by the goal of being more than just a partner, but also a trusted and valued advisor who is there every step of the way.
**The role**:
As the Head of Media Partnerships, you will lead a team of industry specialists with commercial, media and event management backgrounds. You will represent TEAM to senior executives at major media partners from over 200 territories, as well as to UEFA/ECA/UC3.
Your main responsibilities will include the following:
**Leadership and team management**
- Provide inspiring leadership to the team, fostering ambition to raise global industry benchmarks.
- Set, promote, manage and role model the wider departmental objectives.
- Challenge and refine established processes to increase efficiency and ensure practical solutions.
**Media partnerships and relationship management**
- Develop and foster relationships with senior executives from major media partners and UEFA/ECA/UC3.
- Ensure all contractual rights are delivered to media partners at the highest standard.
- Identify, create and promote additional commercial opportunities to support media partners in fully maximising their rights.
- Act as the primary internal contact for all Media Partnerships-related topics, working closely with colleagues from Media Sales, Commercial Affairs, Legal and other teams.
- Together with the team, develop, plan and execute high-standard workshops with media partners worldwide.
- Stay abreast of developments and dynamics in the sports media industry, identifying and analysing emerging opportunities and threats.
You have extensive experience in sports broadcasting or media, and a solid understanding of the sports marketing industry. With a commercially-driven mindset and client-servicing mentality, you are able to navigate media rights operations with ease and add value as a trusted advisor. As an experienced people-manager, you thrive in guiding teams and fostering collaboration.

The position will be based at TEAM’s HQ in Lucerne, Switzerland and will involve some international travel.
