The Commercial Advisory unit, part of the Media Partnerships department, possesses deep knowledge of UEFA club competition commercial, brand and compliance topics. Through our practical and insightful advice, we strive to create opportunities for media partners to better re-finance their rights.
**The role**:
As Commercial Media Manager, you will contribute to the positive experience of 150+ UEFA Club Competitions media partners worldwide and manage the commercial matters of several key media partner accounts. This client-servicing role reports to the Senior Commercial Media Manager.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
**Account Management**
- Handle the day-to-day requests from a diverse set of global media partners, confidently owning the relationship across the key stakeholders
- Ensure your assigned media partners’ exploitation is in line with their contractual obligations
- Add value to your media partners: understand the rights available to them and act as their key source of information for all commercial activities relating to the UEFA Club Competitions

**Commercialisation of Media Rights**
- Advise the global media partner network on how they can best commercialise and extract the maximum value from the rights, whilst ensuring compliance with the contractual rights and obligations
- Proactively propose innovative activations and provide guidance on commercial topics
- Support the wider department & business as a whole on complex commercial requests from partners
You are commercially savvy with approximately 5 years of experience. Ideally, you have gained experience in a commercial-facing role at a media owner or an agency. A background in TV/ advertising/ digital media/ partnerships management would also be welcomed. You have knowledge of the media rights landscape, the sports marketing industry and have worked with a diverse client base. It is equally important to have a strong understanding of the media rights partners’ business models, in particular how revenue is generated. Likewise, you possess a proactive and innovative mindset with the ability to concisely present your thoughts both in written and verbal format. You have experience in digital and non-digital activities and your outstanding client-servicing mentality and commitment to excellence allows you to deliver at the highest standards. Finally, you are able to lead and deliver on projects, balancing the interests of all stakeholders involved.
