**INDUSTRY MARKET MANAGER SYNTHESIS & BIOPHARMA**: Our team in **Basel** currently has an opening for a **Industry Market Manager Synthesis & Biopharma** > **YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES**: Our Brenntag Pharma EMEA division builds the link between Raw Material suppliers and Medicinal Product Producers and manages the Distribution of APIs, Excipients, Intermediates, as well as Base chemicals with Value-Added Services. We serve the market with our entrepreneurial mindset & vision at the highest quality standard. We actively listen to our partners needs and add value with our customized solutions, acting as a one-stop-shop for the pharmaceutical industry. You will be part of the Pharma EMEA Industry Market Management team and work closely together with our Sales and Pharma Services team across EMEA region. Your main responsibilities will be to support the strategic development of the portfolio of API synthesis and Biopharma, conducting strategic sourcing, managing key suppliers and product basket of the segment. You will play an important role in supporting the IMM team, the sales structure and in providing guidance for the Pharma industry based on thorough and up to date market know how. Join our highly motivated Team and engage yourself in creating values for our Pharma customers and suppliers - and be part of our our Global Strategy to win. - Support the development of EMEA-wide Synthesis & Biopharma strategy and product portfolio - Strategic sourcing activities to support the IMM team activities and business development with sales - Build value adding key supplier relationships (incl. supplier selection, sourcing, and product management - price negotiation, GP margin optimization, stock inventory management) - Develop marketing and business positioning campaigns together with the marketing team and execute them - Identify market trends in the API synthesis and Biopharma sector that hold business potential - Market analysis to strategically fill white spots - Develop market know-how to drive strategies for Synthesis & Biopharma field, in line with global IMM strategy - Define the themes, priorities and focus areas for exhibitions and participate in regional trade fair activities - Participate in joint visits with customers **YOUR PROFILE**: Your Profile: - University degree in Science (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry or related disciplines); - +5 years experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Chemical Distribution or related fields; - Experience in Product Management or strong network and relationship building capability with suppliers will be valued; - Experience in sourcing or procurement activities is a plus; - Strong product and market knowledge of Pharmaceutical Industry and it’s requirements; - Solid presentation skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal; - Sound computer skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, CRM; - Availability to travel internationally as required. **OUR OFFER**: > **INTERESTED?**:
