**Job Summary**:
Accountable for identifying and implementing approved sustainability projects, driving the IBX energy efficiency down and achieving carbon neutrality. Ensuring that sustainability is advocated wider than technical solutions. Accountable for managing the interface with the Energy Efficiency Center of Excellence

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify sustainability projects in cooperation with Data Centre Operations and the EECoE (Energy Efficiency Centre of Excellence)
- Responsible for running energy efficiency projects and programs in all data centres within northern European region in close cooperation with site operations
- Translating sustainability goals to high level technical solutions.
- Evaluating the technical solution against the effect on Carbon neutrality and energy efficiency (Power Utilisation Efficiency reductions)
- Translating sustainability goals in achievable projects, based on individual business cases
- Ensures that none of the projects will have a negative effect on the site uptime/availability
- Accountable for budgeting Energy efficiency projects and the sustainability program within the region
- Responsible for agreeing budget reservations
- Reporting on progress both regional as well as globally
- Reporting on budget progress
- Ensures compliancy with the sustainability program
- Tracking the Carbon neutrality goal with the EECoE (Energy Efficiency Centre of Excellence)

**Knowledge and Experience**:
Engineering and Technology
- Experience with data centers, infrastructure facilities and/or building management systems
- Work cross-functionally with the PMO organization and the Sustainability representatives in the company.

Customer and Personnel Experience
- Experience working in mission-critical organizations with dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Understands how to assess customer needs through direct communication, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Creates an atmosphere of interdependence, collaboration, and reciprocal communication among departments or divisions within the company.

Safety and Security
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective IBX operations for the protection of people, data, property, and sites.
- Contributes to inspections, internal and external audits.

Vendor Management
- Expert negotiating and contract knowledge, relationship building with service and material suppliers to ensure that project are carried out against the set scope and goals

Construction
- Strong cross functional knowledge base of build/design and principles to provide detailed input to internal/external construction teams.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma to a Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Prince2 Practitioner certification preferred
