**Media Relation and Content Manager**:**

As Media Relations and Content Manager you will drive and ensure the positioning of the Measurement & Analytics Division in the key trade and business media. You will work closely with key stakeholders to design, develop and ensure high impact positioning for our products, solutions and services throughout the world. You will create high quality copywritten pieces for online and offline outlets - including press releases, blogs, digital content, customer case studies, advertorial features and other media and social media opportunities. Furthermore, you are the Division spokesperson and responsible for crisis management.

**This position reports to**:
Global Marketing Communications Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Responsible for developing and managing Media and Content strategies and annual plans, in alignment with Division objectives and priorities to help grow the business
- Establish processes and best practices to optimize presence in both trade and business media, in collaboration with the business area (PA) and Group Media and PR teams
- Responsible for customization and tailoring of division messages starting from group message and themes such as Sustainability
- Create a variety of high quality copywritten pieces for online and offline outlets - including press releases, blogs, digital content such as website copy, advertorial features and other media opportunities
Establish strong relationships with trade media (including print, web and digital) to raise visibility and improve presence around key topics of interest
- Division spokesperson towards trade media
- Part of the Division incident communication task force. Ensure that all incidents are handled with minimum negative impact to the organization and the ABB brand
- Support the organization with questions/issues related to Media and PR communications, including advice on development of content, speeches, pictures and videos
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of media presence. Initiate and implement improvement actions.

**Your background**:

- Degree or in PR, marketing, communications or related field
- 8 years’ experience in Media Relation and Content Writing, in a large organization and in a management role
- Ideally you will have a journalist background able to understand technological content
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with ability to develop content for a wide range of communications channels to effectively deliver the appropriate message
- Experience in proactive and reactive media relations and crisis management
- Ability to create and nurture relationships with key trade media
- In-depth knowledge and experience of all aspects of external communications mix
