End to End Supply Chain Planner

**About** the role**:
The E2E SC Planner will be responsible to develop a feasible supply plan across the network (ie across DS, DP & Finished Goods manufacturing sites) for the brands in scope. Will be responsible for developing mid-term inventory projection and rough cut capacity planning in the mid-term. This role has the global planning responsibility of the entire supply chain (end-to-end [E2E] view) for the assigned brands collection, aggregation and propagation of demand, supply, inventory and capacity data.

This includes:

- Balance supply with demand respecting production capacities and market needs to generate, smooth out short term variability
- Owns and understands the demand signals including the MRP/MYC (36 month) and LRF (11 year) horizons and supports the resolution of the different forecasts to have a robust and validated E2E forecast
- Monitors inventory status and takes corrective actions to minimize slow moving inventory highlighting potential inventory shortages/excess and taking steps to mitigate write offs
- Drives appropriate communication and escalation for supply issues through the relevant governance and processes
- Attribute-based and constrained capacity planning
- System & Process adherence
- Brand performance (Inventory value, CSL, SCR) and making sure we achieve brand inventory targets across enterprise.
- Brand E2E value stream capture.

**How you will contribute**:

- Balance supply with demand respecting production capacities and market needs to generate, smooth out short term variability and ultimately maintain Master Production Schedules
- Responsible for ensuring that the planning cycle is adhered to OpU/site on capacity usage and utilization, verifying and challenging capabilities where appropriate, providing input into the Takeda budget processes
- Collaborates and aligns with internal sites and/or CMOs in a handover of the master production schedules
- Owns and understands the demand signals including the MRP/MYC (36 month) and LRF (11 year) horizons and supports the resolution of the different forecasts to have a robust and validated E2E forecast
- Develops content and scenarios for the required governance including S&OP, MRP/MYC, to properly communicate and resolve issues with the plan, review performance and gain endorsed decisions on trade-off situations and changes to DS/DP/FINI production plans
- Ensures that inventory levels for all production stages are on target, and supports customer service levels for while optimizing the cost of product (COGS)
- Monitors inventory status and takes corrective actions to minimize slow moving inventory highlighting potential inventory shortages/excess and taking steps to mitigate writeoffs
- Drives appropriate communication and escalation for supply issues through the relevant governance and processes
- Ensures ERP system planning parameters and master data are maintained to enable accurate Master plans to be generated.
- Interfaces with supply planners / production planners, including the required usage of systems and processes to ensure execution of the MPS
- Supports usage and improvement of globally harmonized planning processes and systems.

**_ DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS _**

**Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise**
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes & functions
- Knowledge of Takeda strategy and business performance and using that information to anticipate process needs
- Knowledge of E2E SC processes, Small Molecule OpUproducts, Supply Chain footprint, sites technologies
- Analytics driven
- University Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, industrial engineering, business informatics or similar, preferably with a focus on Operations, Production Planning or any other related fields that require the proper analysis of a large amount of data
- Min. 7 years experience in supply chain or production planning or related fields employing multi-product, multi-echelon batch production planning
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize, yet deliver business objectives, in a busy environment
- Fluent in English
- Capability to translate business needs into data analytics concepts and the reverse

**Leadership**
- Ability to operate cross functionally, working with all GSC functions, Strategy and Business Excellence, other Operating Units (OpUs)
- Very strong transformational capabilities to drive & manage E2E Supply Chain alignment across the Takeda organization for the assigned brands
- Ability to distill complex issues and ideas down to simple comprehensible terms
- Well organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and independent with the ability to initiate and drive goals, project schedules, and manage a (project) team.
- Clear communication, presentation, collaboration and interpersonal skills are required.
- Proven experience in working in a matrix organization, capable of influencing others without authority
