The Director Supply Chain Management is responsible to lead the supply chain function for BMS and will be part of an international team that has to drive EBITDA & EBIT improvements. The goal is to develop the function to leverage the scale, knowledge, and talent across the business to improve all aspects delivering tangible and verifiable benefits.

Director Supply Chain Management

**In detail the purpose of the role is to**:
Create the most effective and cost-efficient supply chain that ensures that BMS can meets the customer promises made in the market. This includes transport management, warehouse management, inventory management, non-conformity management etc. Continuously analyse and improve the related processes and resources.Optimize the stock levels to optimize the Operational Cash Flow.Lead the Supply Chain related integration activities of the current businesses and future acquisition to maximise synergies, efficiency, and productivity.Lead or co-lead several SCM related projects within BMS.Be a change leader able to inspire the organisation to adopt the necessary changes.

Key responsability:

- Member of the Management Team (MT)
- Represent the Supply Chain function and drive the priorities & projects agenda
- Be responsible for all supply chain matters, especially concerning transportation, warehousing and inventory management and represent the MT in all those topics
- Develop and maintain the Supply Chain roadmap and project portfolio, in collaboration with the MT and the Group SVP Operations
- Translate the evolving needs of customers and stakeholders to operational service delivery processes incl. order management, customer service, warehouse, logistics, inventory, quality management and infrastructure. Meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets
- Collaborate with HR on organization and people development in alignment with our business and Supply Chain strategies
- Collaborate with Procurement on the implementation of new or significant changes to contracts following the appropriate RFI / RFP processes as required
- Development and implementation of an efficient and forward-looking supply chain strategy and its implementation
- Responsible for increasing process efficiency while maintaining high delivery reliability and physical security
- Ensuring budgeting and expenditure control of cost and investment items in the supply chain area
- Definition and monitoring of goals and KPIs

Your Profile:

- **Leadership Experience**:10 years + leadership experience gained within a supply chain function preferably in retail or wholesale - having operated both strategically and operationally
- **Functional Expertise**:Minimum of eight years’ experience in supply chain operations ideally managing own assets across a larger region with various sites. Experience in transport, warehousing, and inventory management
- **Managerial Skills**:Track record of building high-performing teams; attracting, selecting, and developing talent to create greater bench strength for the company’s future leadership and a proven track record of integration and change management
- **Industry Expertise**:Solid experience in the construction material & building supplies industry. Additionally, industries with similar challenges can be considered
- **Education**:Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Management, or other relevant education
