**Global Trade &Logistics Development Manager**:

In this role you will be responsible to lead the execution of large and complex key strategic initiatives and organizational transformation/integration projects linked to Trade & Logistics with full accountability of that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, HSE requirements, financial targets, as well as scheduled commitments. Support the development and orchestrates the deployment of T&L goals and plans enabling the Business to outperform competition with truly responsive, safe, compliant, sustainable and lean T&L operations (from Suppliers to End Customer incl. aftermarket/spare parts) driving superior customer experience

**Your responsibilities**:

- Support the development of the functional T&L strategy (incl. but not limited to optimization of logistics networks and performance, packaging, internal/external warehousing, digitalization, tactical and strategic planning, end-to-end transparency/visibility) with an emphasis on mid-/long term strategic planning and policy development
- Make the T&L strategy actionable for an effective and project managed roll-out, thus, define and drive the transformation roadmap contributing to the creation of a more responsive, integrated and sustainable customer-centric end-to-end Value Chain (from Suppliers to End Customer incl. aftermarket/spare parts)
- Act as point of contact to our functional peers in GBS/TMCs, local Business, other Businesses (EL/MO/PA) and future Corporate wherever required
- Instructions/guidelines, processes and systems: Contribute to the continuous improvement/development and implementation of best-in-class functional instructions/guidelines, processes and systems

**Your background**:

- Master Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration
- +7 years’ experience from working in one or several areas of the extended end-to-end Value Chain
- Proven Leadership (direct as well as remote/virtual), Project Management, Problem Solving and Team Building skills
- Continuous Improvement/Growth, Quality and Analytical mindset. First-hand experience from driving Change Management projects and track record of being able to deliver results
- Excellent Communication skills & Intercultural sensitivity
- Substantial experience from working in a multinational environment and navigating complex organizational set-ups
- Sense of Business urgency and Drive
- Perfect command of English language. Proficiency in Chinese, German, and/or Swedish considered a plus
- Capable of working under stress
- Ability to travel globally
- Ability to prioritize during haze of confusion and/or conflicting goals
- Good understanding of statistics and probability is regarded a plus
