Head Logistics & Trade Compliance 100%

Nänikon, Zürich

**Your contribution**
In this challenging and important role you are responsible for defining and continuously improving global and local import and export processes throughout all Tecan sites. You will establish an import-/ export compliance process to provide all included parties with a control form as well as guidance to ensure compliance conformity. Furthermore you will identify process synergies, cost savings and prepare proposals to optimize Tecan’s inbound and outbound logistics chain.- Strengthen the institutional capacity throughout Tecan on export
- / import control and trade compliance
- Ensure efficient compliance to international and local trade policies
- Establish effective and efficient logistics processes internally and externally
- Responsible for trade and custom clearance compliance within, from and to Tecan sites globally
- Actively drive continuous improvement to achieve and maintain cost effective transfer of goods within, from and to Tecan sites globally
- Optimizing / fine tuning the global and local logistics concept of Tecan
- Setup of a global communication platform with all stakeholder facilitating a regular exchange of information
- Representation of all logistics topics in the Corporate Operations Management Team

**Your background**
We’re not just looking for hard skills: We’re looking for people who bring their passion and talent to work.- Education in a relevant theoretical background (e.g. eidg. Export Leiter, Import/Export Manager, Logistics degree Uni/FH)
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in import and export management with global responsibilities
- Project Management experience in a global environment with a proven track record
- Active Know How about existing regulations such as sanctions and embargos, Calculation of Country of origin, Dual use, customs tariffs for various countries
- Fluent German and English skills
- Good communications skills
- Experience with regulated products (IVD, Medical) is a plus
