Customer Support Sales Generalist

WHO YOU ARE
As Online Planning Service co-worker you are responsible to offer a great support to our customers, recognize their needs and actively offer them good solutions. You meet the customers in virtual meetings and support them in planning their kitchen. As a co-worker of the central remote planning team you have the possibility to meet the customer on several touch points on the customer journey.
- You will support the customers in the entire process from planning to assembly, recognize their needs and actively offer them good solutions.
- You have sales experience and ideally already experience with the planning tools of IKEA kitchen.
- You organize your tasks independently, you are creative and think across departments.
- You communicate confidently and with pleasure (oral and written) in English, French and/or Italian and additionally have a good knowledge in German.
- You support the transformation of IKEA into an omnichannel retailer and act as an ambassador within the organization.
- You are open for change and act as role model for your colleagues.
- You bring broad knowledge of our entire product range

- Establish contact with our customers, conduct sales talks and give advice with a lot of empathy in order to strengthen trust in IKEA.
- Assist customers in various languages with their questions and problems and do everything possible to offer the best possible support before and during the purchase.
- Use remote active selling techniques in customer contact to contribute to growth and sustainable long-term profitability.
- Part of the success of our steadily growing online business.
- Planning kitchen or bedroom solutions digitally and respond individually to customer requests in virtual appointments.
- Together in a team you create new ways of working, which you successfully implement and continuously improve.
- Assistance in handling an extraordinary IKEA shopping experience and ensuring customer services.
