Job Description
Technical Program Managers (or Web Banking Theme Owners) are ultimately accountable for the delivery of the assigned portfolio through the supply and demand control within Web Banking Domain - across all Avaloq regions worldwide.
They structure the demand and ensure the product development follows the right priorities in accordance to the project timelines.
**Your mission**
- Prioritize, plan (through Agile methodologies), deliveries in accordance with the project timelines (big picture understanding is fundamental)
- Portfolio demand control (globally) - ensuring product roadmap and clients roadmap is well established in the next 3 years
- Capacity planning for external developers - ensuring sufficient capacity is allocated to fulfill portfolio demand across multiple-teams
- Risk assess delivery execution - proactively report plan deviation in order to implement mitigation actions
- The escalation entry point from Banks management and internal senior management
- Request required funding, owns and control the budget (internal and external), report budget information
- Ensure work packages/initiatives are effectively handled by the Product Owners
- Identify roles required for the initiatives or programs, staff key roles jointly with the chapter lead
- Managing External resources
Qualifications
**Your Qualifications**
- University or college degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent professional education
- Multiple years of professional experience as a Product Owner and/or Program Manager
- Experience working within Agile environment
- Strong background or expertise in financial and digital products
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Great collaboration and team spirit
