We are looking for a Tech Lead to join one of our four product teams. In the team “Product Services”, which takes care of tariff calculations, automated underwriting and more, you will be directing the product’s technical aspects and ensuring its smooth implementation.
Therefore, we are looking for someone who is eager to take the following responsibilities and brings the following to the table:
**What you will be responsible for**:
- Close cooperation with PO on overall requirements analysis for the software product
- Working directly with external, technical peers (partner software providers, B2B customers) to establish solutions meeting the business requirements
- Proactive contribution to the specification of technical tasks & epics to achieve the product goals
- Continue shaping the architecture vision of our software product & orchestrate the technical integration strategy with broker systems and insurance core systems
- Technical implementations, including programming, reviewing code and ensuring it meets the required standards and quality
- Providing technical guidance to engineers focusing on technical growth to increase the team’s self-sufficiency
- Identifying a technical strategy (technologies, tools, practices) that can improve the development process and drive innovation within the team
- Establishing detailed technical documentation serving internal and external stakeholders

- Technical expertise with leadership skills
- Ability to think strategically and align technical decisions with the organization’s goals and objectives
- Effective communication skills as they are crucial to conveying ideas and expectations to team members, stakeholders and other teams Strong programming & architectural skills relevant to the team’s technology stack:

- Solid knowledge to design scalable, maintainable, and efficient software systems: Domain Driven Design (DDD), Microservices & Hexagonal architecture
- PHP (Symfony) to work on our current solution
- .NET - with the potential to grow into to build our future solutions
- AWS (big plus)
- Node.js (big plus)
- Familiarity with DevOps principles, GitLab CI/CD, and tools like Docker or Kubernetes to ensure efficient and automated software delivery
- Fluent in German to communicate directly in projects with external stakeholders
- Fluent in English, which is our primary language for internal team collaboration

- Another plus: Experience in the insurance sector (and insurance software like Centris/Adcubum)
