Are you an English-speaking (and German-speaking) educator (FaBe) with an officially recognized qualification in day care and experience?

At Akidemy we are looking for ambitious and motivated personalities that want to work in one of our beautiful new locations

We have opened a brand-new location at Akidemy in Adliswil. You can be involved from the beginning You will work in a beautiful new location, where every detail of the interior has been thought about. With the most creative materials for children, but also the best facilities for employees. You will work with a new team of the best, professional and fun colleagues, who, just like you, want to get the best out of themselves for children, parents and each other. You will provide structure and tranquility for the children in the group. A completely new location also means that there is a lot of room for improvement and growth. You can actively contribute and bring your own ideas. So that this new location of Akidemy also meets the highest quality requirements.

Tasks

THIS IS CHILD CARE AT AKIDEMY

Our bilingual age-mixed groups are the perfect place to get to know the Akidemy pedagogical vision. We believe that children can already do a lot themselves. We challenge children, stimulate their resourcefulness, teach them to think in terms of solutions. So that they are resilient and ready for the future

But how do we do that? A few examples.
We work with passive toys at our locations. Blocks or balls are examples of items that appeal to the child's own creativity. As a teacher you prepare the spaces in the group with passive materials. The children can stack, collect, sort and imitate. The children will explore the materials in their own way and pace You also let children make their own choices and do things to the extent of their capabilities. The toddlers choose which fruit they eat and if they want to drink from a cup. After they have eaten, they clean their own face with a washcloth. Because by letting them make their own choices and letting them do things their selves, their self-confidence will increase.

- You have a genuine interest in the development of children.
- You are energetic, entrepreneurial, fun to work with and you speak English (and German) very well.
- You have a recognized diploma to work in day care in Switzerland.
