**Your role and responsibilities**
In this position, you will be responsible for the further development of our logistics team and for managing all logístical processes within the UPS organization in Switzerland. You will play a key role in implementing our growth strategy and optimizing the supply chain.
The work model for the role is**:#hybrid**
- Direct leadership of our logistics team across Switzerland for the planning, control, and monitoring of goods flows along the entire supply chain
- Supervision of the supply chain from order placement to delivery, including order processing and inventory management
- Identification and implementation of improvement measures related to suppliers, costs, and logistics processes
- Preparation and analysis of KPI reports on supply chain performance
**Qualifications for the role**
- Several years of relevant professional experience in logistics and supply chain management, ideally with leadership experience
- Hands-on mentality and the ability to combine operational topics with strategic thinking
- Strong analytical skills and in-depth knowledge of logistics processes
- Experience in internal and external communication, including managing international interfaces
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken (business fluent)
- Ability to lead teams across multiple locations
- Experience with ERP systems and very good MS Office skills (especially Excel)
- A valid forklift license is an advantage
