As a Pricing SME, you will play a pivotal role in driving and implementing ABB’s global Price Optimization sys-tems globally for approx. 2B business for part, services, and solutions business. You will work cross-functionally at multiple levels with various internal and external stakeholders to success-fully ensure the delivery of our long-term Price Optimization/CPQ&ERP roadmaps through consistent data structures, processes, and tools, globally. This implies fostering the collaboration between several cross-functional teams e.g. technology, business, and process stakeholders, as well as the alignment with other running ABB initiatives. This role is expected to run a full lifecycle from running a pilot to global implementation.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Continuously be in touch with business stakeholders to obtain VOC relative to pricing pro-grams initiated or any idea about to be assessed by GLT.
- Participate in all system integration/convergence projects to ensure consistency of pricing op-eration processes and procedures.
- Define and propose alignment models across sales organization/divisions.
- Drive rigorous compliance in all business areas.
- Initiate projects that will enhance our current ecosystem and move towards automation in or-der to upscale both - price operationalization and analytics.
- Consistently contribute and advance ideas to the price strategy formulation process
- Work closely with IT/IS/Data Wearhouse team to ensure proper mapping and alignment as well as consistent data migration across systems.
- Develop and provide rollouts stats (Current vs. future state) and tool’s trainings to achieve adoption and best practices.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business.
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, pricing tool implementation or CPQ tool or any other pricing tech implementation projects.
- Experience with projects using an agile methodology, ensure proper agile ceremonies are in place across teams.
- Price management (or finance acumen) and operations expertise.
- Understanding of front end and back-end IT systems.
- Functional knowledge in SAP or other business-related ERP.
- Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken).
- Strong thinker with a clear can-do-attitude and pragmatic approach.
- Excellent communication skills, facilitating alignments between different functional stakehold-ers, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels both in person and remotely.
- A solution-oriented mindset, combining customer focus with business acumen when contrib-uting to business case modelling or shaping self-service reporting.
- Capability to turn data and analysis into insights and learnings.
- Willing to travel up to 40% of the time.
