Supply Chain Expert

**Job Summary**: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Expert to join our team. This role will involve working closely with Leaman’ing team members and various clients across different type of industries to optimize their supply chain operations. The Supply Chain Expert will be responsible for developing and implementing tools and strategies that can be applied to clients' specific needs. Additionally, this role will require on-site support at clients' facilities to ensure successful implementation and execution of supply chain initiatives.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:
**1. Strategic Consulting**:

- Collaborate with clients to assess their supply chain needs and develop tailored solutions to optimize efficiency and save costs.
- Develop and implement risk management tools to drive supply chain management strategy.
- Be familiar with general quality management system requirements to adapt the supply chain strategy to existing procedures. Be able to create or adapt quality procedures to existing QMS of the client.
- Design and implement generic tools, methodologies, and best practices that can be adapted to clients' unique requirements.
- Define and establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain processes and initiatives.
- Develop performance dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track KPIs and provide actionable insights to clients.

**2. Procurement Excellence**:

- Assist clients in developing procurement strategies to improve supplier relationships, enhance sourcing capabilities, and reduce procurement costs.
- Conduct supplier assessments and negotiate contracts on behalf of clients to achieve favorable terms and conditions.

**3.Demand Planning, Forecasting and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)**:

- Develop demand forecasting models and methodologies to accurately predict future demand patterns, incorporating Material Requirements Planning (MRP) calculations to determine material needs.
- Utilize MRP systems and tools to calculate material requirements based on demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels, ensuring optimal inventory management.
- Implement demand planning processes and tools to improve forecast accuracy and responsiveness to market changes, integrating MRP outputs for comprehensive supply chain optimization.

**4. Inventory Optimization**:

- Design inventory management strategies and techniques to optimize inventory levels, reduce carrying costs, and minimize stockouts.
- Develop inventory optimization tools and metrics to track and analyze inventory performance across clients' supply chains.

**5. Production Planning and Scheduling**:

- Collaborate with clients' production teams to develop and implement effective production planning and scheduling processes.
- Design production planning tools and systems to optimize resource allocation, minimize lead times, and improve on-time delivery performance.

**6. Team Management in Customer Organization**:

- Provide leadership and guidance to clients' supply chain teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Build and develop the capabilities of clients' teams through training, coaching, and mentorship initiatives.

**7. Models development and ERP Implementation**:

- Utilize advanced Excel functions and tools to analyze data, create models, and generate insights that drive decision-making, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP) calculations.
- Lead ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) implementation projects, collaborating with clients and internal teams to streamline processes and maximize system capabilities, including MRP modules.
- Evaluate and recommend MRP software solutions that bridge the gap between Excel spreadsheets and full-scale ERP systems, providing clients with scalable and cost-effective options for optimizing material planning and inventory management. Examples of such solutions may include dedicated MRP software, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Inventory Management Software, and Cloud-Based MRP Solutions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, demand planning, and inventory optimization. Talented junior profiles are also welcome.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site at clients' facilities as needed (Mainly across Switzerland and France, other countries are optional)
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Risk Management (FMEA) as a nice to have
- ISO 13485/US GMP as a nice to have
- Strong Knowledge of Excel and ERP Implementation, including MRP, and Familiarity with MRP Software Solutions.
- Fluent in Englis
