In this role you will be global responsibly for partnering with Business/Function leaders to provide consultation and support in the implementation of people strategies for Energy Industries division. **The location of this role is flexible to all ABB PAEN locations. Willingness to travel is required (moderate)**

**This position reports to**:
Energy Industry Division President.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Partner with Global Business/Function leaders to provide consultation and support in the implementation of people strategies of the Division aligned with the business strategy.
- Ensure the organization has the people capabilities to deliver present and future business goals.
- Contribute to business strategy of the Division both long term and short term with people dimensions and HR business metrics.
- Coach and develop business leaders and acts as a change agent to ensure business results are delivered.
- Drive effective communication, engagement, and collaboration across the organization.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure that Division is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed at all levels for delivering the business strategy and with adequate HR Business Partner resources through effective workforce and capability planning.
- Coach, motivate and enable business leaders and contributes to business leaders developing talent in and for the Division.
- Coach, motivate, and develop talent to build an effective, capable, and high performing team of HRBPs for the Division.
- Facilitate organization development for the Division by driving implementation of ABB Way, ABB Core Values, Division’s culture building priorities including Employee Engagement and D&I initiates.
- Facilitates and ensures success of Division’s Strategic Change management initiatives. Drives behavioral change and continuous improvement.
- Partners with Business in developing leadership capabilities focused on driving change and creating new leadership pipeline for the Division.

**Your background**:

- 15+ years of experience in HR function in Generalist roles including Business Partnering in engineering/manufacturing industrial context.
- Proven ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders at senior level combining a strong customer service focus with capacity to constructively challenge, influence and persuade.
- Strategic orientation with business acumen to lead and drive organizational value creation through people strategies.
- Strong skills in data analytics for high quality data driven decision-making.
- Strong communication skills.
- High problem-solving skills and solutions oriented approach.
- Global mind-set, inter-cultural sensitivity, and willingness to travel internationally.
- Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken).
