**Job Description:**:As a Business Support Manager at Caterpillar, you will have the opportunity to develop essential business information and provide counsel to management for all business analysis, product costing and return on investment activities. You will provide analysis and interpretation of the financial condition of the Division relating to operations.

**Job **Duties/Responsibilities **may include, but are not limited to**:

- Provide business analysis support by establishing target costs, cost monitoring, new product introduction analysis, value chain analysis, investment analysis, sourcing analysis, product costing and supporting worldwide new product introduction projects
- Manage all aspects of accounting and financial reporting at the facility level and also at a consolidated divisional level
- Accountable for division's monthly financial reporting for the operations, including annual business plan, rolling business management, long term forecasts, volume flexibility planning.
- Responsible for the operations’ monthly accounting and financial reporting and conformance with local and US GAAP.
- Provide analysis of business statements to assist managers in managing costs and revenues in product and operations areas
- Participate in strategy development to improve enterprise profit results
- Manage and coordinate the development of accounting related functions for the facilities, including actual and planned accountable profit business statements, capital and inventory analysis
- Support the Strategic & Operation Planning process that includes management of prime product and attachment scheduling & orders areas, assembly line slotting and order fulfillment
- Ensure compliance with the unit's Business Risk Management governance process and Sarbanes-Oxley controls by ensuring effective and adequate documentation of analysis

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in an Accounting or Finance related discipline
- Progressive responsible Accounting or Finance related experience

**Desired Qualifications**:

- MBA, Certified Accountant, or Master’s degree in a business related field
- Strong background in accounting, cost accounting, and budget development
- Strong analytical skills are required to perform detailed financial analysis and prepare strategic plans
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific action
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently with teams in multiple locations across multiple time zones
- Business Support experience and knowledge of working in operations and providing facility support
- Knowledge of the Caterpillar organization, its products, policies and procedures

**Location**:

- All Caterpillar locations worldwide will be considered
- Global relocation is not available
