We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join our award-winning business in Switzerland. The role can be remote or hybrid based. Our Swiss office is in Lucerne.

Our team supports the European, Middle Eastern, African and Indian (EMEAI) and APAC territories for Neogen, a top performing NASDAQ listed business employing over 2,500 people worldwide.

This position is responsible for all finance matters surrounding Neogen’s supply chain with a primary focus on the EMEAI region. This position will also act as a key contributor for the EMEAI region in carrying out execution of intercompany policy and maintaining Swiss GAAP accounts.

Key responsibilities include:
Manufacturing:

- Work with the Master Data and Supply Chain team to ensure Standard Costs are loaded appropriately into the ERP systems within region
- Analyse manufacturing variance within the region and for certain global product lines
- Advise management on saving opportunities related to manufacturing costs
- Work with Financial Planning & Analysis team to budget and forecast manufacturing costs

Warehousing & Distribution:

- Analyse import, freight, and warehousing costs and recommend savings opportunities
- Work with finance to determine the financial flow of certain products within the region including recommendations for: INCOTERMS, Invoicing Currency, Volume, etc.
- Work with Treasury team to hedge the impact of foreign currency within the region
- Work with Financial Planning & Analysis team to budget warehousing & distribution costs

Intercompany:

- Oversee all intercompany transactions for the region ensuring that proper documentation is retained
- Reconcile intercompany accounts monthly
- Carry out intercompany invoicing as necessary
- Work with Master Data to maintain intercompany pricing within the ERP for the legal entities in the region
- Work with Financial Planning & Analysis team to budget and forecast intercompany transactions

Swiss GAAP:

- Maintain the Swiss GAAP Accounts on a monthly basis including account reconciliations
- Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions for the Swiss Legal entity
- Work with Tax to provide information necessary to complete Value Added and Corporate Income Tax Returns

Knowledge, skills and experience required includes:
Significant prior experience in financial management which would allow for completion of the responsibilities outlined.

An appropriate university degree or a professional accountancy/finance qualification.
