Reporting to the Head of Global Strategic Marketing, Innovative Portfolio, this role will be responsible for leading global commercialization activities for innovative cardiology products, including development and implementation of Global Strategic Marketing and launch plans. As the leader of cross-functional commercialization teams, he / she will be accountable for creating the portfolio’s integrated marketing strategy for numerous mid and late-stage clinical programs. Viatris is therefore seeking an individual who will utilize their industry experience to influence global and US commercial stakeholders to make sound business decisions while ensuring all key commercial opportunities across the portfolio are identified and acted upon.

This role will have a high degree of visibility across Commercial leadership, global and regional partners, and functional leadership outside of Commercial; and will play a key role in implementing a new commercial operating model and elevating the role of commercial across the organization. This position is a critical leadership role with strong opportunity for future advancement.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Develop Global Strategic Marketing and launch plans for innovative cardiology products.- Develop and implement all elements of the Global Strategic Marketing plan including delivery of consistent branding, positioning, and messaging.- Serve as the “Product Champion” and motivate the cross-functional commercialization team to maximize new product value.- Coordinate the activities and resource planning of the commercialization team across global Market Access, Market Research, Patient Advocacy, and Medical groups to align the global strategy and execution of business plans.- Monitor pricing and reimbursement dynamics across markets and partner with cross functional stakeholders to develop recommendations that address market opportunities and challenges.- Provide strategic thinking for identification of future market opportunities, partnering with New Product Planning and Business Development to identify internal and external development/partnership opportunities.- Develop, track, assess and align organization around key market and brand performance metrics.- Provide business inputs to, and lead subsequent implementation of, Strategic Lifecycle Plans for the cardiology portfolio and pipeline products.

Here are the minimum qualifications for this position:
- BA/BS in Business or Life Sciences (MBA preferred. 10+ years of professional marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry. Related education and experience may be considered.- Strong track record of commercial leadership in the US and ideally global/above-country roles with demonstrated ability working with in-country and regional partners.- In-line marketing experience with senior brand responsibility and people management in dynamic and innovative therapeutic areas.- Relevant therapeutic area experience preferred in cardiology. Experience in competitive therapeutic areas and markets.- Experience planning and executing at least one US / Global innovative product launch.- Working knowledge and understanding of multiple major pharmaceutical markets. Strong understanding of market access and medical strategy.- Track record of developing lifecycle management plans and providing commercial input into clinical development programs.- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills with an ability to master complexity and integrate insights into strategies and actions.- Exceptional executive presence and strong communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with senior leaders and manage people. Must possess a strong focus on customer service.- Able to facilitate and manage change in the introduction and expansion of Compensation and Benefits program capabilities.- Ability to build, lead, and motivate teams, including coaching and mentoring.- Proven track record of interacting and influencing at all levels of a matrixed organization (cross-functionally and cross-geography).- Strong sense of accountability and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, high-pressure, and changing environment.- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities on time.
