Manufacturing Engineer for Force-Moment Sensors

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who seeks a new challenge and wants to specialize in the manufacturing of force-moment sensors. In this position, you will be responsible for both manufacturing and procuring the necessary materials and components. Your goal is to ensure smooth production and optimal supply chains.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manufacturing force-moment sensors: you are responsible for management of the efficient and high-quality manufacturing of the sensors. This includes controling of assembly, calibration, and commissioning according to specific manufacturing instructions and quality standards.
- Planning and procuring materials: you analyze the need for raw materials, parts, and components for production and ensure that the required materials are procured in a timely manner. Working closely with suppliers to ensure the availability and quality of materials.
- Quality control and quality management: you conduct regular quality checks on the manufactured sensors to ensure they meet technical specifications and performance requirements. Additionally, you develop and implement quality management measures to continuously improve product quality.
- Documentation and reporting: you create technical documentation, reports, and protocols related to the production process, quality control, and procurement. Keeping relevant data and information up to date and ensure they are available for internal audits and inspections.

**Qualifications**:

- Master degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, systems engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Experience in the production of force-moment sensors or similar technical products.
- Experience in procurement and supplier management.
- Experinace with ERP system (Odoo), AutoCAD, 3D modeling and drawings design, e.g. SolidWorks
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques, quality management, and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles and other continuous improvement methods.
- Strong technical understanding and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English and German.
