To strengthen our Global HR leadership team, we are looking to hire an enthusiastic team member to work as Head of Global Compensation and Benefits, based in Switzerland.

The Head of Global Compensation and Benefits leads a small team of experts on various functional topics within the Group HR setup. This newly created position reports to the Head Group HR and is part of the ongoing HR transition to meet future business and employee expectations in an agile and digital work environment. It encompasses various functional areas in one global center of expertise and execution. The incumbent’s roles and responsibilities are but not limited to:

- Designing and implementing compensation and benefits framework, policies and guidelines on Group level and lead regional implementation
- Partnering with regional HRBPs to understand current issues and resolve through existing, new, and/or improved HR practices, processes, or policies
- Reviewing, redesigning, and harmonizing total rewards processes and procedures on Group level and ensure proper implementation
- Supporting the transition to a new digital solution in the compensation and benefits area and ensure the effective future use, development, and maintenance
- Leading competitive analyses for total rewards programs in key countries, including salary increases, internal pay equity analysis, market pay trends, and budget impact
- Planning and managing the annual review cycles for salaries, cash incentives, and long-term incentives (equity)
- Closely collaborating with various internal functions, such as Legal, Finance, Tax, Audit on a variety of issues pertaining to compensation and benefits topics
- Managing adherence to agreed financial plans and budgets
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and HR policies in area of functional responsibility
- Managing, developing, and engaging a global team of compensation and benefits professionals and external partners to create a global community.

What You Need to Succeed

The successful incumbent needs to have following background:

- Fully qualified HR professional with a bachelor or master’s degree and at least 10 years of experience in compensation and benefits, preferably in consulting as well as industrial environments
- Experience working in multi-cultural and matrixed organizations combined with regional/global accountability and international experience is a must
- Comfort in working within a fast-paced, international business environment with a high level of complexity and a certain degree of decentralization
- Experience in establishing C&B policies, procedures, systems, processes, and guidelines
- Experience in one of the common global grading systems
- Know-how in global mobility management (policy, guiding and overseeing the calculations) is an advantage
- Excellent stakeholder management, business partnering, and advisory skills
- Effective in dealing with HR colleagues and executives, effective in communicating and collaborating within the matrix
- Strong analytical and reporting skills; highly competent working with numbers and Excel
- Strong business acumen and solid understanding of financial, legal and tax implications of the various global compensation models
- Good portion of pragmatism, decisiveness, and willingness to develop solutions, and proven economic skills
- Hands-on leadership style; at ease operating without large personal support structures
- Clear service orientation and high degree of integrity, commitment and ethics are a must
- Fluency in English; German an advantage
