Eligibility Projects Lead

**Overall Responsibilities**
The position is responsible for the planning, alignment and execution of Supply Chain activities related to approved and funded projects. Projects can include new product introductions, product line extensions, network optimization, acquisitions, divestiture, product design changes and lifecycle management.
This person works directly with overall project leaders, regional supply & demand planners, supply network planners, Master Data Management team, RA & QA teams and business partners to ensure strong working relationships and processes, resulting in achievement of stated final project objectives.
**P**osition Duties and Responsibilities**:
Under and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position is responsible for:
- Significantly align with all business partners (Finance, DELIVER, Make, External Operations, Marketing, R&D, Source/Procurement, etc.) to ensure alignment and agreement on upcoming changes.
- Significantly align with Make, Supply Planning / Purchasing to ensure capacity is appropriately used for planning and scheduling functions.
- Support the Sales & Operations Planning process
- Drive Scenario Planning process, with capacity bottleneck identification where appropriate. Ensure appropriate available capacities to meet timelines and volume requirements.
- Identify and pro-actively mitigate risks throughout the entire supply chain.
- Drive improvements in Global Supply Chain Projects processes.
- Provide input for Global Supply Chain strategy across projects and platforms.
- Provide strong connectivity with existing supply chain processes - S&OP, Inventory Management, interdependent projects
- Works directly with key business partners to ensure strong working relationships and processes, resulting in achievement of Operations objectives
- Ensure activities performed are compliant with the DepuySynthes Quality System.
- Support demand, supply and inventory strategies to build robust, efficient and compliant end-to-end supply chains for new products.
- Develop an organization capable to meet a multifaceted business environment, recruit and maintain impactful associates.
- Responsible for managing and meeting all supply chain deliverables on assigned projects focused on Labelling initiatives, Product Conversions, Supply Chain Business Process and System improvements.
- Deliver and manage global end-to-end planning and supply chain effectiveness and efficiency.
- Coach, train and mentor Supply Chain Project Specialists and support Supply Chain Project Leaders. Support interviewing and recruiting, onboarding and talent development for the department. For assigned direct reports, drive the 5 conversations, provide frequent feedback, identify developmental goals and engage in succession planning conversations.
- Backfill Life Cycle Supply Chain Manager and act as a program manager for the various projects assigned to the Eligibility Projects Team
- Proxy & deputy and representative for the Eligibility Projects team
- Assist and provide guidance in project prioritization and resource assignment to the various projects that are impacting the supply chain
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
- Responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
- Performs other duties assigned as needed
**Qualifications**
**Education Requirements**:
- University Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Logistics. MBA or equivalent preferred.
**Further Education**:
- Knowledge of Process Excellence tools (Lean, Six Sigma), Greenbelt is a requirement, Blackbelt preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Flawless Project Execution (FPX) Certification required
- APICS certification or equivalent is required to be obtained where supply chain education is not prevailing at entry into the role
**Experience**:
- 6-8 years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing related function
- Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain principles
- Good understanding of business processes and tools and the specific business challenges
- Experience working in a regulated industry
- In depth knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, OMP or equivalent) and information technology
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Demonstrated management skills like communication, organization, people management, change management, networking
