Location: Europe time zone countries. In this role you will be responsible for the project controlling activities for the GPG Power Protection. Our business is growing on project business, and we need to reinforce our controlling competence on these directions, helping the global team and the LSOs involved. You will act as business partner to the Project Management Team, supporting all financial and commercial matters and actively driving the project’s performance. You may be assigned to multiple small or medium-sized project or to single large projects. The role will report to the GPG controller Power Protection.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Tender stage: support the tender manager on financial aspects; provide input to negotiations on commercial issues; provide input in local risk review process.
- Risk management: participate and drive the RR for the GPG. Help the local teams who don’t have a right level of competence to do it in the correct way.
- Training/development: help the local teams to have the correct level of competence in the Project controlling topic.
- Project execution: provide input to the Project Execution Plan on financial aspects; support the local teams in the financial accounting and reporting of the projects; drive and seek for optimization of Project Cash Flow, Revenues and GM contribution together with Project Director; oversees currency risk, bonds and guarantees and tax issues; help the local teams for the correctness of project balance sheet and income statement as well as for cash flow and monthly/quarterly forecast.
- Monitoring and review: participate in opportunity/risk identification, monitor that all required mitigation actions are timely implemented; has joint responsibility with the Project Manager for all Financial aspects of the project including Estimate at completion and related Cost-to
- complete, forecasted Revenues and Cash Flow, Risks and opportunities assessment and ensure alignment with other functions including Project Controls, planning/scheduling; support the Project Manager in coordinating and preparing monthly project reviews. Participate in preparing the project cost report; verifies the substance for cost to complete.
- Support the GPG controller in the finance analysis of the LSOs, for Project business but also for service and flow

**Your background**:

- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting
- A minimum 2 years of experience or alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated performance and results; in the areas of business, finance, operational controlling and/or accounting.
- Strong costing knowledge and understanding of project controlling.
- Proactivity, teamwork skills, problem solving and result orientation
