Your mission is to set up Climeworks’ commercial team for success by driving our event strategy and execution.
- You evaluate and maintain the list of events Climeworks will participate in with a focus on Europe and Asia.
- You create specific event execution plans, set up event campaigns in Salesforce and coordinate event KPI tracking.
- You own the communication with the event organizer (e.g., secure registration for Climeworks attendees and speakers, nominate Climeworks speakers, negotiate and procure sponsorship packages) and you support Climeworks speakers with narrative, and logistics.
- You set up event invitation campaigns and cadences (using assets including invitation templates from Marketing).
- You organize Climeworks-hosted side events such as client roundtables and dinners together with Climeworks’ commercial team.
- You help arrange event logistics (e.g., coordinate logistics for Climeworks participants including locations for 1:1 meetings with prospects/customers, workshops, dinners, etc.; coordinate set up of on-site branding assets from Marketing).
- You have at least 3 years’ experience in event management or related expertise from a role in communications.
- You have a bachelor's degree in event management, business management, environmental sciences, policy or a related field.
- You show heavy organization skills, project management, stakeholder management and/or strategy.
- You have the ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail, prioritize and meet deadlines, have a structured working style and enjoy a fast-paced environment.
- You are a solid communicator and a great team player who thrives on interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- You have an excellent command of written and spoken English and you are proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM & ERP (Salesforce experience is a plus).
- You are a self-starter, are comfortable working in a remote team, and you are willing to travel occasionally.
