Our Diabetes Care business is the industry pioneer and leader in the area of diabetes injection devices. The unit has a 90-year history within BD and is unique as it focuses on one disease which is a threat to world health with products like insulin syringes, pen needles and sharps containment. Our injection devices provide 2/3rd of the worldwide insulin injections, serving our 30+ million global patient base.
BD plans to spin off its Diabetes Care business - creating a new publicly-traded company. Embecta will become one of the largest pureplay diabetes company in the world. The strategic roadmap for NewCo comprises of three vectors:
1. strengthen the core business;
2. seek business development (inorganic) opportunities that can add to the product portfolio;
3. bolster the organic product development pipeline.
**Job Description**:
As Manager Site Service Delivery and Executive Support, you will be responsible for the overall quality and delivery of the supported IT services and Executive Support at our Eysins office. This key position requires the ability to lead day to operations for IT Services at the site including supporting day to day operational needs of C-Suite leaders and the Board of Directors,
Main responsibilities will include:
- Own overall IT operations and executive support of the global headquarters
- On-Site Support Teams & Walk Up support kiosk management & oversight
- Provide an issue point for when service levels are missed or at risk and coordinate resolution of issues with infrastructure, change, and support teams
- Deliver locality specific solutions required by the business
- Provide program and project management services across all technology towers
- Complete the projects/improvements/deliverables needed to implement technology, processes, or services to meet requirements including the documentation, testing and implementation.
- Work as key driver to facilitate partner teams to ensure delivery provides the desired outcomes
- Immediate Deskside and remote IT support for Executive users
- Mobile Device configuration & Support
- Offsite Meeting Request Management
- After hours and weekend support when necessary
- Board of Directors support of on-site and off-site meetings.
- Point of contact in case of ticket Critical issue, procedures accelerator
- Infrastructure Project Support & implementation
- Technology Adoption & Training
- Demonstrates technical leadership and exerts influence outside of immediate team.
- Works with other IT teams for continuous improvement of the overall IT organization.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field is required.
- Experience interacting with C-Suite executives
- Demonstrable experience in IT support/helpdesk
- Prior Executive Support experience
- Outstanding customer service orientation and relationship leadership skills with organizational partners and customers
- Preferably experience in support meeting room systems
- Good interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Experience managing outsourced IT providers and experience working with a variety of third-party technical organizations to achieve business goals
- Solid understanding of global technologies, including efficiency suites, networking, telecom, data center, end-user platforms, and cloud hosting platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN technologies
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure and IT security
- Familiarity using Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, O365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Active Directory, Messaging, DNS, Site & Services, Group Policies, Share / Folder permission standard processes & security groups
