**About the role**:
The purpose of the PMO and Governance Lead for the Small Molecule OpU (SM OpU) is to ensure integrated governance processes across the OpU are linked to business processes/ cycles, work efficiently and the OpU has the ability to measure short and mid-term progression on the transformation journey.

The role has significant contribution on ensuring the Operation Unit has highly effective governance processes in place, setting the annual agenda/calendar and has full transparency on progression on the improvement and transformation journey

In this role you will establish the Project Management Office (PMO) function and governance processes across functions and sites. You will be responsible for:

- Contribute on ensuring the Operation Unit (OpU) has highly effective governance processes in place, setting the annual agenda/calendar and has full transparency on progression on the improvement and transformation journey
- Establish, own and drive the PMO
- Establish, own and driving OpU governance possess and setting the annual agenda/ calendar for the OpU
- Deliver the required reporting to ensure continued progression on performance and transformation of the OpU
- Provide a tailored support for sites on project execution, supervising and guiding project teams, risk coordination.
- Contribute on ensuring the Operation Unit has highly effective governance processes in place, setting the annual agenda/calendar and has full transparency on progression

**What you bring to Takeda**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field. **Desirable**: Master’s degree in related field
- 10+ years manufacturing experience ideally in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing environment is a must with experience working in a manufacturing site
- Proven experience partnering with senior leadership teams at global and plant level
- Hands-on experience of driving value for with functional expertise for program/ project management (e.g., milestones, KPIs settings)
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing a wide variety of data to make process improvement decisions with strong business acumen & financial analytics skills to enable decision making
- Fluent English
