Sustainability Manager

Your opportunity Works closely with Head Corporate Responsibility (CR) and relevant internal stakeholders to ensure the continuous development of the company’s sustainability strategy Acts as main contact and entry point for questions around CR & sustainability and coordinates inquiries internally with relevant internal stakeholders (especially BoD office; L&C; T&S) Actively contributes to reporting frameworks, such as annual Sustainability Report in accordance with GRI Standards, PRI signatory reporting, CDP reporting, climate reporting such as TCFD, rating agencies and other sustainability-related surveys on behalf of Vontobel Actively monitors regulatory developments such as EU AP, TCFD, national CO2 legislations and initiatives as well as industry standards and commitments Prepares the quarterly meetings of the Vontobel Sustainability Committee and coordinates or implements measures and projects decided Independently manage and implement projects and activities around sustainability together with both internal and external stakeholders, take on project management office role incl. regular status reporting towards project steering committees Supervises internal and external communication on CR & sustainability issues and projects and ensures consistency of messages including the drafting of blog articles and webpage content Flexible working models possible (minimum pensum 70%) You bring Degree in business, economics or sciences Deep knowledge in the areas of corporate sustainability in the financial industry and sustainable investing and preferably previous work experience in the field Proven experience in independently managing projects in the areas of sustainability (environmental, social), regulatory issues, also related to implementing the goals of the Paris Agreement Familiar with regulatory issues and the sustainability landscape (national & EU) Writing skills and talent in dealing with language Enthusiasm for working with a broad range of stakeholders from different fields and for coordinating complex projects German mother tongue, fluency in English; French would be an additional asset You are Team player, flexible and able to work under pressure Enthusiastic when it comes to the topic Sustainability Strong in coordination to reach a common and ambitious goal Convincing personality What we offer We work according to agile principles especially in our way of thinking and our methodology and we work with mutual trust **Teamwork is important to us**: We always exchange valuable knowledge and skills with each other - One Vontobel We offer the opportunity to increase your knowledge of Risk & Compliance requirement policies through specialised training courses Our work culture is characterized by short communication channels and direct cross-departmental contact and information exchange We offer the option for home office (Flexible working times), diverse benefits and provide a first-class lunch menu when you work in the office Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewerbung bei Vontobel.
