**Your role**
- Are you passionate about derivatives instruments and markets?
- Are you an expert at analyzing and reporting Balance Sheet and P&L of Investment Banking businesses?- We’re looking for a financial / product controller to:
- Review the T+1 P&L by attribution, T0 vs T1 P&L differences, Risk Based P&L, VaR back-testing exceptions, leveraging on your knowledge of derivative products and Greeks.
- Ensure production and substantiation processes are supported by an appropriate control environment and controls are performed as intended. Challenge and escalate material control exceptions and continuously promote improvements to the current control processes to mitigate risk, raise effectiveness and increase quality.
- As product SME, represent Finance in the cross-functional forums and support / drive ongoing bank-wide business or regulatory driven initiatives impacting the financials. E.g. FRTB, new or changes in business initiatives, complex trade review and Technology changes.
- Face off senior stakeholders on ad-hoc queries from functions such as Front Office, Finance, Audit, Accounting Policy, Market Risk.
- Review and challenge key risk indicators and metrics, facing off to a team of onshore and offshore financial / product controllers.
- Summarize and transform granular communications, such as P&L commentaries, for senior audience.
- Manage timely closure of unsubstantiated balances & review adjustments daily
- Pro-actively identify, review and escalate Operational Risk Events and Issues.

**Your team**
- You’ll be joining the Financial Accounting and Product Control team in Zürich. We ensure accuracy, integrity and completeness of the books and records at the lowest level of granularity, and provide insightful information to senior business and finance stakeholders to enable foresight into complex derivative businesses.

**Your expertise**
- Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or finance related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Investment Banking aligned functions, preferably in a financial / product control, accounting control or valuation control function.
- Preferably on the job exposure to FX, Equity or Fixed derivative products.
- Ability to meet regular, tight deadlines and priorities.
- Know-how to manage and develop a robust set of controls to the financials of a global business.
- Experience with matrix reporting and working with teams in global locations
- Analytical and methodical, with great attention to detail
- Excellent communicator who can adapt style to audience
