As a Concept Design Group Leader, you will lead and develop a team of designers to drive visual valorization of concepts and prototypes from Nestlé Research (NR), including R&D Accelerator, to gain business impact and speed in implementation. Lead and support ideation, concept, and prototype generation at NR. Drive and establish functional connection with key stakeholders of our innovation process (businesses, Product development centers, lead of global visual identity, designer network).

**A Day in the Life of a Concept Design Group Leader**

People Development
- Lead and coach a team of designers across different core competencies such as industrial and graphic design, CGI, UX/UI, and beyond
- Manage performance and career development
- Champion and create a work environment fostering consumer driven innovation and renovation across all units
- Build diverse team based on latest design tools/competencies to meet consumer demands and ensure new tools are identified and are state of the art knowledge, including scouting of new methods/tools

Deliver results & Strategy
- Prioritize and drive design support to projects in alignment with business needs and strategy
- Deliver with team workshops for ideation and development of new and innovative concepts of science developed at NR / business relevant workshops in close collaboration with further Front End Innovation teams such as e.g. consumer insight
- Ensure team is guardian of the design intent, ensuring original ideas stays intact throughout the project development, working with external vendors and agencies up to commercialization of solutions
- Ensure Design thinking awareness across the organization is promoted, and develop team competence in the field of expertise, including scouting of new methods/tools to ensure state of the art
- Actively contribute/lead to the Nestle Design network, driving establishment and adherence of best practices and competency development in new area (i.e Digital..)

**What will make you successful**
- 10 years of professional experiences in marketing/consumer/design and/or frontend innovation in FMCG environment
- Ideally 3-5 years of experience in leading a team
- Strong communication skills, strategic vision, flexibility
