You will report to the Assistant Director Sustainability Programs. You will primarily contribute to the Integrated Sustainability Program while collaborating seamlessly with the broader Sustainability Programs Team and supporting division-wide initiatives as part of our "One IATA” approach. Integrated Sustainability Program ISP offers Sustainability Standards and Guidance to enable Aviation Organizations to identify, track, address, and improve their sustainability performance across four key topics: Environmental Management (IEnvA), Sustainable Procurement, Social Responsibility and Sustainability Performance Monitoring. ISP Programs support the development of aviation-focused Management Systems and have been designed for adoption across the value chain: airlines, airports, and handlers. At its core, ISP certifications provide a framework to verify, communicate and demonstrate sustainability action & improvement to investors, financers, board, customers and regulators while being aligned with ISO Guidance and ISO Standards (specifically ISO14001, ISO26000, and ISO20400). SAF Registry The SAF Registry is integral for the sector to enable the reporting and claiming of SAF environmental attributes as well as to substantiate the industry progress made towards the Net Zero objective. During the implementation of the systems, you will support the testing of the different functionalities, and validate that system deliverables have been implemented as planned from an end-user perspective. What your day would be like What your day would be like **ISP** Support the preparation of templates, tools, and guidance documentation to assist aviation organizations implement the ISP. Assist with the development of communication materials related to the promotion of ISP, including but not limited to: social media posts, newsletters, podcast and video scripts, and webpages. Develop best practice for the Social Responsibility program on: community engagement, representation, talent development and human rights Support the development of Sustainability KPIs, to enable airlines to measure and monitor performance. Help in refining the Sustainable Procurement scope for airports and ground handlers. You will participate in regular project meetings, take minutes, and capture the deliverables and timelines decided as part of these meetings. **SAF Registry** Test and validate system requirements and functionalities implemented in pre-production from an end-user perspective. Capture irregularities and errors and communicate these effectively with the project team and system vendor. We would love to hear from you if Recent graduate or Masters student in a relevant discipline: Sustainable Development, Economics, Business Management, or Aviation Exposure to and understanding of sustainability (social, environmental, and/or governance issues in a large organization and knowledge of aviation is preferred.
