- If you are looking to work within Finance and to do something truly interesting with your career, this program could be for you. Our 18-month program will place you in three different roles in different countries and business units, with each assignment lasting approximately six months. One of your placements will be at our headquarters in Zurich, but you could also be preparing a project presentation (and shopping) in Hong Kong, or finalizing the quarterly closing (and watching the latest NHL game) in Toronto._

The work will be hands-on, and you will experience a steep learning curve in a challenging business environment. The program is designed to give you a solid understanding of accounting and other fundamentals of finance that a senior leader should learn to master early in the career. Being exposed to different countries and responsibilities will give you a chance to accelerate your learning, allowing you to assume responsibility immediately and develop a wide range of financial skills that will prepare you for a leadership position. As you advance in the program you will take on more responsibilities as well as be given separate business projects to expose you to new business areas and new people within the EF organization.

Your network will be wide, as the program will provide you with the opportunity to attend international meetings and trainings with senior executives. In addition, you will be assigned a personal mentor from EF’s top management who will support you throughout the program.

After completing the EF Global Finance Program, you will be ready to take on a challenging position somewhere in our finance organization. This could mean a management role within accounting or business controlling somewhere in EF’s global network. There are no predetermined career paths, and each person sets their own limits. Your next role will be a logical extension of what makes the most sense for your situation and goals. In the long term, your career may lead you to a CFO position or another senior position within EF.
