**INTRODUCTION**:
For our client, an international company, we are looking for a Financial Accounting Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for the accounting, reporting and controlling of financial instruments and hedge accounting programs, form the accounting positions for treasury transactions and support ad-hoc projects from corporate accounting angle.

**DESCRIPTION DE LA MISSION**:
**Accounting and controlling of treasury transactions**
- Monitor hedge accounting programs to ensure hedge effectiveness criteria for designated financial instruments are met
- Perform analytical review of hedging programs (from inception of derivatives to release of hedging results) to capture any unusual financial results.
- Support treasury in selection and sourcing of IFRS compliant market data for derivative valuations and foreign currency exchange calculations.
- Review monthly Group FX analysis and quasi-equity accounted intercompany positions for unusual items

**Reporting of treasury transactions**
- Review and ensure correctness of reporting pages submitted on a quarterly basis (hedge accounting, derivatives, borrowings, cash and cash equivalents, FX and interest rate sensitivities, etc.)
- Perform JSOX activities related to reporting pages
- Act as a single point of contact for external auditor's questions in relation to reported pages
- Support planning and management reporting in relation to treasury activities (currency exchange gains and losses, interest income and expense, etc.)

**Projects and IFRS technical queries**
- Support treasury projects by providing accounting expertise
- Determine IFRS accounting treatment for complex business transactions
- Perform annual impairment review (for intangible assets and PP&E) and assessment of expected credit loss (for financial instruments)
- Support the Corporate Accounting team on hyperinflation accounting

**PROFIL ATTENDU**:

- 7+ years in a similar role or in a Big 4 accounting firm will set you up for success
- Solid knowledge of IFRS (experience in financial instruments accounting is a plus)
- Practical experience in valuation of derivative instruments is a plus
- You analyze and understand complex transactions and provide clear and easy to follow accounting solutions
- A confident MS Office user; SAP knowledge is a plus
- English
- University degree; internationally recognized accounting certification (ACCA, CPA)
