Trust Accountant for a Well-established Company

**About the role**:
Our client is an independent Swiss trust and fiduciary company managed by experienced professionals from different fields: financial, trust and corporate.

You will join a close-knitted team and have real responsibilities, reporting directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager. We are looking for a self-starter who can quickly take charge of ongoing activities. You will be confident and able to interact with Trust Officers, Compliance and Directors providing accounting assistance where needed.

**Job duties**:

- Responsible for bookkeeping
- Accounting for cash movements and current management operations
- Establishment of consolidation tables of accounts
- Preparation of annual accounts and financial statements
- Drawing up financial statements and/or checking the accounts of the companies under management
- Handling ad hoc requests for various offshore structures, including trusts, foundations and companies incorporated in various jurisdictions

**We are looking for**:

- Graduate in accounting, finance or equivalent
- A minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in trust accounting
- A clear understanding of trust and corporate structures and fiduciary responsibilities
- Organised with strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, to establish priorities and keep deadlines
- A team player with good work ethics and a hands-on mindset
- Fluent in English and French would be desirable
